Wow. 5 years ago, my baby French Truly was born!
On June 1st 2013, I gave my very first class at the local French restaurant of my Seattle neighborhood, which the delightful French owner Thierry Rautureau let me use in the mornings when it was closed to the public. The funny and amazing thing is that most of the people present in that first class are still my students, and actually now, my friends!
So much has happened to this ever growing baby
Since the beginning, French Truly’s mission has been to “Help You Become a Little Bit French” and with time, we explored so many different ways to achieve this for you: groups, classes, talks, conferences, presentations, events like the French Truly Salons at SIFF… we even became regulars on Seattle TV & radio!
My very first French Truly TV video
Then there was the creation of my channel French Truly TV, the cultural trips to Lyon, and now the Immersion Weeks in Pélussin for people who want to improve their French speaking skills via classes and activities with plenty of fabulous locals!
The above is THE VERY FIRST French Truly TV video, today viewed more than 75,000 times, so I guess you liked it! To celebrate I’m going to shoot it again… with much better sound this time! I was still learning back then!
In fact I’m always learning, always creating, always growing, and it’s thanks to you so… MERCI BEAUCOUP!
The next step will be the French Truly Online School offering online courses for you to learn at your own pace and with my help! Coming very soon!
Hey! That was a bonus Virginie. The ‘u’ is a difficulty for me. You are among my top three bloggers.
Very good Virginie, important sounds thank you, some difficult for me pronouncation is my big problem.
She doesn’t give you the trick for making the U sound: you say “ee” while making an O shape with your mouth. So easy!
