My friends, today you are in for a French / Asian culinary & visual treat! Watching this video will help you to learn French online for free and improve your French comprehension.
This week I have interviewed for you Tâm Nguyen, my delightful neighbor, who happens to be an amazing chef, who happens to own a gorgeous restaurant! In this French interview (with French subtitles!) he will share with you his fascinating path, beginning in Laos, where he was born.
I eat at Tâm à l’Affiche at least once a week because it’s sooooo delicious not to mention completely gorgeous and zen-like! Of course it doesn’t hurt that it’s about 45 seconds away from my apartment and that Bruno & Sophie (my dogs) love hanging out there as much as I do!
Tâm’s artistic nature is revealed not only in the food he makes… just look at this little magic bubble of happiness he creates day after day, and conveys via the beautiful pictures he takes:
In fact for those of you coming to one of my Full French immersion Programs here in Pélussin, I highly recommend that you eat there on your free time, you will not regret it!
You will adore his food, his kindness, openness, happiness, positivity, but also as you can probably begin to imagine through the pictures I took from Tâm à l’Affiche’s Facebook page, the heaven-like ambiance and atmosphere he creates around his restaurant.
To give you one quick example, a couple of months ago he decided to turn all the grass in front of his restaurant into this insanely cool organic flower and vegetable garden!
A big, happy, colorful, crazy jungle!
People travel from far away to experience Tâm’s food.
In this French video with French subtitles, he will tell you more about it himself! Watching this video will help you to learn French online for free and improve your French comprehension.
Oh. And here’s a little explosion-of-cuteness bonus… in the video I mention that Tâm’s dog (Falcor) & one of my dogs (Sophie) are in love. Well, here they are, sharing a pure moment of bliss!
And yes, you will meet them all when you come to Pélussin! Ha!
