So you think Christmas is the same in France because, well, it’s a Christian holiday! So same Christian traditions, right?

Wrong!

I’m going to cover 3 differences with you today:

1- the date (crazy I know but true)

2- the food

3- the stars (think Santa is the one and only?)

And I couldn’t resist it, I decided to sing a Christmas song for you again. This one is typically French, and typically our favorite! I’m adding the link of the whole song by Tino Rossi under my video. But watch my video first otherwise it won’t make sense 🙂

Did you know about these differences?

Were you ever in France for Christmas?

Did you ever try these foods?

Which Christmas character do you like the best? Le Père Fouettard? 😉

Here is the link for Tino Rossi’s “Petit Papa Noël”. Look up the words, learn them in time for Christmas (you still have a week, plenty of time!) and then impress your family with your new French Christmas knowledge!

Love it!
