You are about to watch a French Truly video ALL IN FRENCH with French subtitles and THIS is the best way to learn! With English subtitles you end up reading and disconnecting from what you hear. You stop listening. That’s why French subtitles are the best and the way to go!
Plus my friends you are about to meet Gaëlle Dumont, a wonderful magical French artist located in Pélussin, the little French village where I moved to last October! While I am in the heart of the village, she is outside in the middle of the forest and top of the mountain! The view from her house, which you’ll see on the video took my breath away (and made me want to steal her house 😉
Here is some of her work in pictures but you will see more in the video as well as the gorgeous Pélussin nature that inspires her work!
These are the questions I asked her en Français bien sûr, and she answers en Français bien sûr!
You’ll hear all her answers in French and since I’ve added French subtitles for you, it should be much easier to understand and follow! It’s a great exercise, not to mention super interesting to learn about Gaëlle, her artistic journey, and her love for Pélussin! Enjoy!
Hey Virginie – you bring out the best in people. What a wonderful woman, I could follow the conversation with the help of subtitles. I do like her art and mugs.I do admire her courage to be independent.
Merci Malcolm tes commentaires me vont droit au coeur 🙂
Hello Virginie! Thanks for sharing with us. It looks like she is a super artist.
I also learned a lot by what king the French subtitles. Wow! Big help. Merci beaucoup!
Salut!
De rien Evelyn! Takes a long time to add these subtitles but I do it because I know how magically helpful they are… en Français 😉
