Masculine or feminine nounsa
You may have already heard, everything in French has a gender.
For instance:
Test = a table
Test content =
Test content
La table = the table
La test = the table
Table is feminine and we cannot say un table or le table (although if you do people will understand what you are trying to say so don’t worry to much)
Un bureau = a desk
Le bureau = the desk
Bureau is masculine and we cannot say une bureau or la bureau (same comment as above!)
However, the first 3 nouns below can be either masculine or feminine.
