WHAT WILL WE READ TOGETHER?
Voici le livre que j’ai choisi : La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast) by Mme Leprince de Beaumont.
Did you know that La Belle et la Bête was in fact written by an 18th century French author? It’s a short and completely charming tale that we all know, which makes the whole reading and exploring experience much easier for beginner level students! You could even top it up by watching the most artistic 1946 movie version by French poet Jean Cocteau, enjoy the trailer HERE.
BENEFITS
- Improve your French comprehension skills in a completely safe & friendly environment with moi, la Belle, et la Bête.
- Practice reading, speaking, and listening to French while rediscovering one of our most favorite tales of all times. This will ensure a rich discussion as well as expand your French vocabulary and sentence structure.
- Learn French grammar & conjugation in a natural way thanks to a practical context.
- Relax knowing that I’m here to manage our time together and make sure everyone gets a fair opportunity to participate.
- If you enjoy this book club, there is another wonderful, easy, and short children’s tale included in the book mentioned above (L’oiseau bleu) so we can go straight into another series of classes! If you love this idea, SIGN UP by selecting the appropriate button below!
