Diabolo Grenadine: délicieux summery French drink!

                       

Le diabolo grenadine!

I caught myself telling two different students who will be visiting France this summer they absolutely must order a “diabolo grenadine” at a French Café! It is a very popular drink all over France and has always been my favorite! And so I thought it would be good to share it with you all!

The bartender will pour about an inch of “sirop de grenadine” in the bottom of a thin tall glass to which you can add your “limonade” (usually brought to you separately). By the way, French “limonade” is fizzy! 

The end result is an explosion of wonderful sweet flavors in your mouth! And the bubbles make your eyes water a bit! Une superbe et délicieuse expérience!
